Copyright/Reprint Policy

I am always delighted when someone wants to quote or  refer to my written work, even when they say rude things about it or me, as long as they link to the original.  That said, I have noticed lately that a lot of people are recopying entire posts to their blogs or websites without asking permission, often without even providing attribution or linking to the original.

Got that?  Big no on plagiarism and stealing, it’s rude not to mention illegal.  If you wish to reprint something in its entirety, ask and your wish will probably be granted but just because it is on the web does not mean it isn’t copyrighted. Look at the bottom of this page, it says so plain as day and I  would appreciate the courtesy of respecting my intellectual property.

Secondly, if you happen to be one of those lucky websites that brings in money, I ask that you share accordingly.  I realize you’re not getting rich, neither am I, but it is only fair that if I am providing content for your site and you are getting money for it, then you should share.

1) Please link and provide attribution if you quote

2) Ask before reprinting entire posts and

3) Share the wealth such as it is.

That’s it, we’re on the honor system here, make nice.
